Digital Marketing Data Scientist / Data Engineer

Location: Warszawa, Poland  


As a Digital Marketing Data Scientist, you will be a part of our Digital Marketing HUB in Warsaw, which serves 3 large markets - Poland, Russia and Turkey. Similar HUBs are already working in other locations across the globe. You will work closely with the rest of the specialists on the HUB team (especially with Audience Strategy Manager and Digital Marketing Technology Lead) and the Global Business Solutions & Insights (IT & digital marketing transformation) and Global Data Engineering (Science) teams. 


At this crucial role for the HUB and Reckitt, you will understand the business questions of teams on the ground help the business teams to get the best out of the global data & measurement models implementation, ensure efficiency and relevancy of our campaigns, to help our brands being delivered with best in class digital experiences to our customers.


This is a “customer-facing” Data Scientist role and it consists of 40% work on pre-existing models to assess performance of campaigns (we use ROMI Analytics system) and 60% on communication, presentation, influencing the main stakeholders (people from the HUB team, Brand Managers from local markets) and Reckitt’s business as the person in this role will be the only one who will be able to understand and interpret the results of the used models and algorithms to convey the story behind them.


  • Provide requirements to the Data (Science) Engineering team to ensure features needed for an accurate and actionable outcome are made available 
  • Understand learning agendas and business questions to help choose the best features, additional datasets and appropriate algorithms 
  • Drive deployment and scalability of new Data Products for the HUB, being a technical expert in product activation 
  • Responsible to execute Data Products during Sprints/Campaigns and guarantee quality metrics (accuracy, speed, etc). 
  • Support in define the right technology platforms with the right algorithmic choices for the highest accuracy, scalability and operational efficiency 
  • Work on pre-existing models, but also conceptualize and deliver new analytical models and mechanisms to improve business performance, if needed
  • Resolve data-related issues 
  • Partner with Global Data Science/AI team to identify new opportunities and enhance existing products
  • Process data belonging to digital marketing in different geographies – Google AdWords, Facebook, TV campaigns, Nielsen, sell-out data – by use of attribution and other models and Phyton writing skills
  • Independently run Data Science Solution (PowerBI dashboard for business) 
  • Present and influence business based on insights coming from Data Science Products by graphs and practical cases easily understand by business 


  • Communication and presentation skills allowing to present to, and influence business based 
  • on insights coming from Data Science Products by graphs and practical cases
  • Fluency in English
  • Eligibility to work in Poland is necessary 

We need skills and competencies sufficient enough to use in Data Science Products:

  • Business Analytics: Exploratory Data Analysis, Forecasting, Predictive Modelling, SQL 
  • Data Science: Machine learning, Market mix modelling, Attribution modelling, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Classification, Regularized-Lasso & Ridge, Tree-based models, Clustering techniques, PCA, 
  • Programming languages: Python, Pyspark basic programming skills – we are in a Python programming environment
  • Analytical Software/Tool: Microsoft Azure, 9Cloud, Power BI, Advanced MS Excel & Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Domain expertise on digital platforms – nice to have
