About the role

The primary role of the IS Digital Senior Business Analyst is to proactively partner with Global, BU and other commercial functions within the organisation to lead & activate strategic digital initiatives & proactively identify value-based and strategically driven opportunities and risks to enable our ultimate objective of delivering insights which create value and drive the business forward - whilst ensuring synergy, cost-effectiveness and appropriate levels of governance are observed.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Account manage multiple functional stakeholders including demand management and resource planning
  • Continuous Stakeholder collaboration: define top-middle business requirements (technical & non-technical language), strongly linked to business ambitions and strategy
  • Ensure implemented systems are maximised to deliver faster, newer insights needed to support business growth, maximising return on investment in IT and delivering growth
  • Plan, manage and execute (where appropriate) agreed regional & country digital projects across the cluster
  • Develop and deliver training and continuous improvement programs
  • Proactively identify new and emerging technologies and embed a principle of ‘test & learn’ to enhance & enrich technology propositions and value
  • Work with the Product Managers, Digital Delivery Manager, Web developers, content editors, UX team and global tech leads to ensure the initiatives are delivered as planned through scrum methodology
  • Providing key insights around digital adoption (web performance) to drive business change initiatives
  • ROI focus on value delivery and insights – through to delivery
  • Leading country and region specific projects with regard to scope, vision & best practices
  • Leadership of projects through whole lifecycle ensuring compliance with RB methodology, being flexible to sprint & phased deployment approaches to learn quickly
  • Work collaboratively with scrum team members to deliver digital deliveries; fully engage and contribute in agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning sessions, daily stand ups and retrospectives)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or similar qualification with IT/Business and IT Digital Marketing experience as core subjects
  • A minimum of 5-10 years practical experience gained working within a commercial organization in a business analysis or similar role
  • Commercial acumen, be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of commercial business processes.
  •  Proven experience with business/digital and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification and methodology development
  • Understanding of web tech and back end tech and to work effectively and cooperatively with development teams
  • Depth understanding of Digital Analytics - Able to use industry leading data management tools (GTM/Google Analytics, Sales Force)
  • Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products
  • Strong track record of contributing to projects and achieving results
  • A “customer facing”, service oriented approach to enable a successful partnership and strong relationships.
