About the role

The primary role of the IS Senior Business Analyst Supply & Finance is to proactively partner with global and local commercial functions within the organisation to lead & activate strategic initiatives & proactively identify value-based opportunities and risks to enable delivery which will create value and drive the business forward. You’ll look to find opportunities, align project goals and objectives with strategy. You’ll understand, define and analyse business needs and requirements in the space of supply & finance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Account manage multiple functional stakeholders including demand management and resource planning, a business partner with supply or finance team for projects related to process improvement and new systems functionalities
  • Continuous Stakeholder collaboration (both business & technical side): define top-middle business requirements (technical & non-technical language), strongly linked to business ambitions and strategy
  • Ensure implemented systems are maximised to deliver faster, newer insights needed to support business growth, maximizing return on investment in IT and delivering growth
  • Leading country and region specific projects with regard to scope, vision & best practices through the whole lifecycle ensuring compliance with RB methodology
  • Collaborate with IT partners from 3rd parties as Logistics partners and EDI providers
  • Creation of business requirements documentation, functional & technical specifications and testing documents
  • Collaborate within the team in order to prepare ad hoc reports helping data visualization and generation of insights based on Supply & Finance data sets

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or similar qualification with IT/Business or Supply or Finance direction
  • A minimum of 3 years practical experience gained working within a commercial organization in business analysis or similar role – commercial acumen with detailed understanding in the area of Supply and/or Finance
  • Proven experience in project management, be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of project cycle, key project documents, business requirements list etc.
  • Solid understanding of SAP and EDI functionality – practical experience on actual use of SAP transactions or EDI setup of connections with customers eg. orders, invoices
  • Strong track record of contributing to projects and achieving results
  • A “customer-facing”, service-oriented approach to enable a successful partnership and strong relationships.
  • Fluent English
