Product Owner

RB is driving aggressive growth in digital globally, leveraging digital tools and technologies to provide superior service for consumer experience across the different online and offline channels. Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product strategy to enable Website Platform capabilities in the markets, with focus on deploying and extending its usage across key markets within RB Health.

 

Scope of Responsibilities:

 

•    Aligns with business teams to understand their roadmaps / plan and identify, assess and elaborate on the digital demand i.e. what needs to be developed across each proposition area e.g. brand websites, digital content management;


•    Develops the roadmap to-do lists and sets priority for the proposition specific squad. Prioritises work (i.e. what) for the proposition squad to work on and deliver;


•    Manages and grooms the service proposition backlog, i.e. defines the features and user stories for the proposition squad members to deliver on;


•    Clarifies the acceptance criteria for the features and user stories;


•    Ensure adequate consideration and compliance with RB standards and security implications for propositions being delivered;


•    Collaborate with Marketing, Brands in identifying global and regional projects; plan rollout and deployment strategies for various countries; drive the implementation plan to success;


•    Collaborate with other areas within the business to help identify, assess and translate business opportunities into business driven-information technology solutions;


•    Identify business opportunities and risks and proactively work with the business and IT to address these;


•    Create and enhance current and future business processes to meet business requirements;


•    Drive the design and enhancement/modification of business systems through analysis, clarification and definition of user requirements;


•    Drive and track project activities for key system initiatives throughout the system’s life cycle;


•    Provide ongoing project management for vendor projects including initiation/evaluation, design, development, training and roll out;


•    Manage / lead the development and where required deployment of systems;


•    Drive project activities with other appropriate team members within the business to develop effective team relationships;


•    Create and maintain project documentation including policies and procedures, status reports, system design, process flows and project presentations;


•    Ensure all IT security risks are covered in the development and deployment of systems.


Technical / Professional Qualifications:


Essential


•    Program and Project Management qualifications e.g. Prince2, PMI PMP;


•    Microsoft Office suite to proficient level;


•    Web / CMS technologies;


•    Consumer data platforms;


•    Knowledge of D2C platforms, Marketing campaign platforms.

 

Desirable


•    ITIL V3 to Foundation level;
•    Agile software development methodologies, e.g. Scrum, DSDM, XP, FDD, SAFe.
